About SAJDO
Saba Jazeera Development Organization is minority led organization and it is a legally registered Somali Local Non-Governmental Organization (LNGO) and Non Political Organization (NPO) with collaborating Community Based Organization from minority and marginalized groups and this organization was established in the year 2022.
SAJDO Mission
SAJDO is engaged in Human Rights protection with focus on vulnerable and marginalized and minority societies through lobbing and advocacy and the repatriation of displaced people from their areas of drought and conflict as well as peace building and community security through providing free legal aid service in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders in order to reduce all kinds of violence, droughts and displacements in Somalia.

SAJDO PROGRAMS
Sajdo programs are to work and develop health, education and agricultural production development, we are doing health and educational activities in the whole of southern Somalia, especially in the Hirshabelle State.
Meant to address the minority societies right to get education and health from different perspectives, SAJDO will establish a Human rights & documentation centers that perform several activities such as; MCHs, Schools and the documentation of human rights, abuse afflicted on Women, children and minority/marginalized communities.
Advocacy
SAJDO will use media groups as tools for advocacy and public campaign to
address issues that affect the most vulnerable groups including women and children in Minority societies.
Prevention and response
SAJDO believes that, in order to prevent
discrimination and racism, Minority
communities must be strengthened. It is through preventive steps such as;
awareness, outreach activities.
FGM Day stands for Female Genital Mutilation Day
FGM Day stands for Female Genital Mutilation Day. It is observed internationally on February 6th each year to raise awareness about the harmful practice of female genital mutilation and to advocate for its eradication.
The organization operates in Benadir and Hirshabelle States
